College of Arts and Sciences announces Stamey and Gaches 1xbet online sports betting Award winners

The College of Arts and Sciences has announced the 2016 winners of the William L. Stamey Awards for undergraduate 1xbet online sports betting , as well as the winners of the first-ever Ronald N. Gaches 1xbet online sports betting Awards. All awardees are being recognized for outstanding 1xbet online sports betting and/or advising practices within the college.

Recipients of the William L. Stamey Awards for undergraduate 1xbet online sports betting :

• Ryan J. Rafferty, assistant professor of chemistry — Stamey Undergraduate 1xbet online sports betting Award.

• Craig Spencer, associate professor of mathematics — Stamey Undergraduate 1xbet online sports betting Award.

• Joshua Brummer, graduate 1xbet online sports betting assistant in the mathematics department — Stamey Graduate 1xbet online sports betting Award.

• Tanya Gonzalez, associate professor of English — Stamey Advising Award.

William L. Stamey is a mathematician and served as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences for 17 years from 1970-1987. In recognition of Stamey's outstanding record in recruiting excellent faculty to Kansas State University and in recognition of the continuing need to foster excellence in 1xbet online sports betting and advising, the College of Arts and Sciences established the Stamey Awards.

The college established the Ronald N. Gaches awards to acknowledge ongoing excellence in undergraduate 1xbet online sports betting , as well as 1xbet online sports betting innovations that improve pedagogical practices within the college and will present three such awards this year:

• Traci Brimhall, assistant professor of English — Gaches Undergraduate 1xbet online sports betting Award.

• Mark Ungerer, associate professor of biology — Gaches Undergraduate 1xbet online sports betting Award.

• Anne Phillips, professor of English — Gaches Lifetime 1xbet online sports betting Award.

Gaches is the chair of the Arts and Sciences Alumni Advisory Council and a veteran lobbyist with more than 35 years of experience in government relations, public affairs and association management. His clients have included the largest private sector firms in Kansas, including Boeing, Pizza Hut, Sprint and Atmos Energy. Gaches's management experience includes service on the staff of the largest agriculture and business associations in Kansas, 16 years as executive director of the Kansas Society of Professional Engineers, as well as extensive experience as a volunteer and consultant with local chambers of commerce, professional societies and trade associations.

The awardees will be recognized during the Arts and Sciences commencement ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Bramlage Coliseum.
