The next Leonardo 1xbet online sports betting Science Evening Rendezvous, or LASER, a national program of evening gatherings that bring artists and scientists together for informal presentations and conversation with an audience, will be from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of 1xbet online sports betting in the UMB Theater.
This month's speakers include:
- John M. Briggs, professor of biology and Konza Prairie Biological Station director.
- Taryn Hampton, student in the 1xbet online sports betting department's Digital/Experimental Media Lab.
- Michael Veeman, developmental biologist and assistant professor in the Division of Biology.
- Carlos Castellanos, assistant professor in the 1xbet online sports betting department's Digital/Experimental Media Lab.
The LASER events foster community and discussion around the intersection of 1xbet online sports betting and science, serving as a platform for the dynamic cross-disciplinary conversations necessary to generate innovative ideas and perspectives.
The agenda includes presentations of 1xbet online sports betting and science projects, news from the audience and time for casual socializing and networking.
LASERs are free and open to the public.
