The 1xbet online sports betting Band program will present concerts at 7:30 p.m.Oct. 11 and Oct. 12 atAll Faiths Chapel. Both concerts are free and open to the public.
The concert on Oct. 11 will feature the Concert Band, Brass Ensemble and Woodwind Ensemble. The audience will hear the works of Grainger, Carnahan, Ziek, as well as many other contemporary composers. The groups are under the supervision of Frank Tracz and will be conducted by Alex Wimmer, Dan Haddad, Wes Lewis and Jay Koupal.
The Oct. 12 concert will feature the Wind Symphony and 1xbet online sports betting 's premier wind group, the Wind Ensemble. The Wind Symphony will perform the works of Vaclav Nelhybel, Felix Mendelssohn, and end with Chang Su Koh's "Carnival Day." The group also will perform Gordon Jacob's epic "William Byrd Suite." The Wind Symphony will be conducted by Donald Linn. The Wind Ensemble will perform Rimsky Korsakov's "Variations on a Theme of Glinka" featuring guest oboe soloist Kelley Tracz.
Doctoral conducting associate Alex Wimmer will lead the Wind Ensemble in the landmark wind band work, "Divertimento for Band" by Vincent Persichetti. The concert also will feature a new work for winds by Illinois composer Kimberly Archer, "Common Threads." This will be a dynamic and exciting concert that will feature some of our most talented students at 1xbet online sports betting .
The Wind Ensemble is under the artistic direction of Frank Tracz.
