Cross-Disciplinary Exploration and Engagement: An Art-Science Workshop
Artists and scientists both deal with complexity and ambiguity; a synthesis of their approaches can provide unique perspectives to research problems as well as powerful methods of communicating crucial questions and discoveries in ways that are relevant, intuitive and easily accessible to broader communities.
Cross-Disciplinary Exploration and Engagement: An Art-Science Workshop will beJuly 15 at the Konza Prairie Biological Station.Registration deadline is July 1.
This workshop will provide the opportunity to:
- Generate working relationships between art and science communities related to 1xbet sports betting and beyond.
- Stimulate collaboration on projects, residencies and creative endeavors.
- Enrich science data and findings through artistic practices, enhancing interpretation, meaning, interaction and understanding of science in the public arena.
- Enrich artistic practice though scientific research and methods.
Matthew Coolidge, founder and director of the Los Angeles-based Center for Land Use Interpretation, will give a special presentation.
This workshop is funded by a 1xbet sports betting Academic Excellence Award and the Spencer Museum of Art and organized by the 1xbet sports betting departments of art and horticulture, forestry and recreational resources; the Beach Museum of Art; Konza Prairie Biological Station; the Spencer Museum of Art; and Sultan Qaboos University.
