K-State Mortar Board hosts community information night for Ethiopia Reads fundraiser
K-States's senior honorary society, Mortar Board, will host The Reading Run 5K on April 30 to raise money for the nonprofit organization Ethiopia Reads.In preparation for this event, a community information night will take placeat 7:30 p.m.Thursday, April 14, at the Manhattan Public Library for all interested K-Staters and community members.
The event will help everyone better understand Ethiopia Reads' mission of promoting sustainable literacy development throughout the country. The event also will include a number of Ethiopian artifacts and various activities.
