Office of 1xbet online sports betting Programs announces spring 2016 Incentive Grant awards winners

The Office of 1xbet online sports betting Programs announces winners of the spring 2016 Incentive Grant awards. Marcellus Caldas, assistant provost of 1xbet online sports betting faculty collaborations and educational programs in the Office of 1xbet online sports betting Programs, led the K-State College Advisory Council, or CAIC, in accepting and reviewing the 1xbet online sports betting grant proposals to fund activities likely to have a significant impact on elevating 1xbet online sports betting education at Kansas State University.

"Every year our CAIC receives excellent proposals and once more the quality of the proposals submitted for our incentive grant awards have exceeded our expectations," Caldas said.

Grant awards can be used by faculty to develop 1xbet online sports betting collaborations, research, teaching and study abroad opportunities, as well as elevate 1xbet online sports betting global learning opportunities and experimental short term co-teaching grants.

Spring 2016 Incentive Grant winners:

  • Carlos Castellanos, art department in the College of Arts & Sciences, received,000 to attendArtistic Explorations of Ecology, Technology and Community in Wuhan, China.
  • Anne Sally Davis, diagnostic medicine/pathobiology department in the College of Veterinary Medicine,received,000 for aRift Valley Fever Virus research collaboration with the University of Pretoria.
  • Julia Day, apparels, textiles, and interior design department in the College of Human Ecology, received,550 for thefourth Expert Meeting of the 1xbet online sports betting Energy Agency Energy in Buildings and Communities Program Symposium: Annex 66 & NSF workshop.
  • Salvatore Florio, philosophy department in the College of Arts & Sciences, received ,000 for "The Nature of Logic: Teaching and Research."
  • John Jaeger, Agricultural Research Center, College of Agriculture, received,500 for "Collaborative Applied Beef Cattle Research and Undergraduate Instruction."
  • Shuting Lei, industrial and manufacturing systems engineering department in the College of Engineering, received,500 to develop aresearch partnership between Kansas State University and Aix-Marseille University in France and to present at an 1xbet online sports betting conference in Germany.
  • Janice McGregor and Sara Luly, modern languages department, German, in the College of Arts & Sciences, received,000 to attendJLU Giessen & LMU Munich: Site visits and program development.
  • Ji Young Na, philosophy department in the College of Arts & Sciences, received ,000 to attend the 2016 Biennial 1xbet online sports betting Society of Augmentative and Alternative Communication, or ISAAC, Conference.
  • Kumiko Nakamura, modern languages department in the College of Arts & Sciences, received,000 to developnew partnerships in Japan for a Skype exchange program, service learning opportunities and a study abroad program.
  • Balasubramaniam "Bala" Natarajan, electrical and computer engineering department in the College of Engineering has,000 pending report from previous grant for "Energy Harvesting in the Internet of Everything."
  • Maggie Syme, Center on Aging,family studies and human services departmentin the College of Human Ecology, received,300 for "From Kansas to Australia: A Sexuality and Dementia Research Collaboration."

Faculty and instructors can stillapply for the new Office of 1xbet online sports betting Programs Collaboration Award to recognize those who have collaborated with an 1xbet online sports betting partner for the first time during the 2015 calendar year.
