Did you know that as a faculty member you have access to Scopus, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, via the libraries' website? To help you learn how to use this powerful tool, the 1xbet online casino Libraries and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs will host two training sessions at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 3 and 3:30 p.m. Dec. 7 in Hale Library's Hemisphere Room.
Scopus can help you:
- Search for relevant topics/articles during the literature review phase.
- Decide where to publish - analyze the top journals and authors in your discipline.
- Discover who is citing you.
- Explore how many citations an article or author has received and identify potential collaborators.
- Find information to support your grant or other applications.
- Download and organize multiple full-text articles simultaneously.
- Export data via bibliographic managers such as RefWorks.
While sharing many of the same features as the more familiar Web of Science, the two products complement each other with Scopus covering more journals — particularly in the humanities/social sciences — and Web of Science going further back in time.
