Internal search for interim vice president for 1xbet online casino announced
K-State announces an internal search for an interim vice president for 1xbet online casino to serve for the spring 2016 semester during the ongoing national search for the permanent position. The successful candidate will provide strong, thoughtful leadership to support and build on the university's substantial strengths in 1xbet online casino , scholarship and creative activities.
Theinterim vice president for 1xbet online casino will serve as a member of the President's Cabinet and have administrative responsibility for the Office of 1xbet online casino and Sponsored Programs, the University 1xbet online casino Compliance Office, and other 1xbet online casino and 1xbet online casino support units. This is a full-time position.
Current K-State tenured faculty members — associate or full professors — with strong 1xbet online casino credentials will be considered for the position. The ideal candidate will have had administrative experience with a unit such as an academic department or 1xbet online casino center; possess leadership skills and the capacity to work well with departments, college deans, business leaders and government agencies at all levels; and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
It is preferred that the selected candidate be available to spend approximately 10 hours per week during December 2015 working with the currentvice president for 1xbet online casino to smooth the transition. The expectation is that the interimvice president for 1xbet online casino will serve in the role for the remainder of fiscal year 2016 or until a new permanentvice president for 1xbet online casino is hired in the concurrently running search. Application for the position of or appointment as interimvice president for 1xbet online casino will not preclude an individual from consideration for the permanent VPR position.
The InterimVice President for 1xbet online casino Search Committee is being chaired by Beth Montelone, associate dean for 1xbet online casino , College of Arts & Sciences, and professor of biology. Other members are Christine Aikens, professor of chemistry; Vincent Amanor-Boadu, professor of agricultural economics; Dan Andresen, associate professor of computing and information sciences; M.M. Chengappa, university distinguished professor of diagnostic medicine and pathobiology; Amanda Martens, graduate student in psychological sciences and president, Graduate Student Council; and Jacqueline Spears, professor of curriculum and instruction.
The InterimVice President for 1xbet online casino Search Committee invites letters of nomination or applications — letter of interest, curriculum vitae and contact information for at least three references — to be submitted as soon as possible. Review of materials will begin on Nov. 9 with interviews during November. Appointment is expected by Dec. 9.
