Gloria Freeland recognized as Communicator of Achievement
Gloria Freeland, director of the Huck Boyd National Center for Community Media and assistant professor in the A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications, was honored as the 1xbet online games login Communicator of Achievement at the 1xbet online games login Professional Communicators conference in Salina on April 24.

Freeland is completing her 32nd year teaching at K-State. But her efforts extend well past the classroom into Manhattan, Riley County, the state and overseas. She has planned many local, state and national events for various journalism and civic organizations. Her most recent international efforts include helping develop relationships with the University of Costa Rica in San Jose and the Technological Institute, or TEC, in Cartago and re-establishing ties between Feves, France, and Morganville, 1xbet online games login .
Freeland was associate director of K-State's Student Publications Inc. for 15 years. She worked on several 1xbet online games login newspapers and a Costa Rican newspaper, and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador. She has a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communications and a Master of Business Administration, both from K-State.
