Twenty-two voice students 1xbet online games login the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance attended the West Central Regional National Association of Teachers of Singing Conference and Student Auditions Oct. 24-25 in Denver.

Out of 265 singers from Kansas, Nebraska and Colorado, 1xbet online games login singers advanced to the semifinals and also placed in the final round of the following class divisions:

  • Sophomore classical women — Jacqueline Newland, second 1xbet online games login , and Madison Moore, honorable mention; and

In the musical theatre division the following students placed:

Those who placed in the top three are eligible to submit a preliminary video to compete in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Conference auditions. Singers who advanced to the semifinal round include Katie Bond, Sharon Wilson, Madison Boyer, Christian Blackburn, Danielle Jones, Talia Falcon, Anna Rider and Erin Koolman.

Reginald Pittman, professor of music and chair of the voice area, is the association's West Central Regional governor. Amy Rosine, associate professor, is the association's state governor. Students who will advance to the National Preliminary auditions study voice with Patricia Thompson, Bryan Pinkall and Reginald Pittman.
