Free workshop on National Center 1xbet best casino website software for analyzing, visualizing Earth sciences data

Graduate students, postdocs and faculty in the geosciences at 1xbet best casino website won't want to miss an upcoming opportunity to participate in a free workshop on the National Center for Atmospheric Research's Command Language, or NCL. The weeklong workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 15-17 and 9 a.m. to noon July 18 in 2002 Throckmorton Hall.

This workshop will be an introduction on using theNational Center 1xbet best casino website 's Command Language to read, analyze and visualize earth sciences data. The workshop will consist of both lectures and intensive hands-on labs, where students will use the command language to analyze and visualize their own datasets.

The lectures are co-taught by Dennis Shea, associate scientist in National Center 1xbet best casino website Earth System Laboratory, and Mary Haley, Command Language project lead and software engineer in National Center 1xbet best casino website Computational and Information Systems Laboratory. Rick Brownrigg, a software engineer at National Center 1xbet best casino website Computational and Information Systems Laboratory, will be providing support during the hands-on labs.

Those who attend should have a basic knowledge of UNIX, MacOSX, Linux or Cygwin/X, know how to edit files using UNIX editors such as vi/vim, emacs, or nedit, and have written code using an interpreted or non-interpreted computer language. Those who don't have a knowledge of UNIX or at least one computer language will likely find the workshop too advanced.
