Nontraditional students may apply for the 2014 Stella Harriss Scholarship
The League of Women Voters of Riley County Stella Harriss Scholarship Fund will offer one 0 scholarship for the fall 2014 semester.
The following criteria will be used to select the scholarship recipient:
- The recipient is or will be a nontraditional student who desires to complete a degree program at Kansas State 1xbet best casino website . A nontraditional student is generally defined as one of the following: 25 years of age or older, married, a parent, a veteran or student returning to school after an absence of three or more years.
- Must have earned a grade point average of at least 2.4/4.0 for 30 or more college credits.
- Preference will be given to a full-time undergraduate student — 12 hours or more.
- Has demonstrated a keen interest in public service and is committed to the principles of the League of Women Voters as stated on the league website.
- Demonstrates financial need. The student financial assistance office will evaluate a student’s level of need. It is necessary to complete and submit a free application for the federal student aid available in that office and to qualify for aid.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
