Biology professor honored with 1xbet online casino Excellence Award
Keith Gido, professor of 1xbet online casino ecology in the College of Arts and Sciences' Division of Biology, was recently honored with the 1xbet online casino Excellence Award from the North Central Division of the American 1xbet online casino Society.
Gido is a world-renowned ecologist and the 2015 recipient of the Donald Tinkle Research Excellence Award from the Southwestern Association of Naturalists.
The 1xbet online casino Excellence Award is given to a North Central Division member of the American 1xbet online casino Society who has made an outstanding contribution to the 1xbet online casino profession.
Gido has more than 100 publications, 40 in the last five years, and nearly 20 past or current graduate students.
"Dr. Gido is clearly an outstanding 1xbet online casino professional who excels in research, mentorship, and professionalism," saidJeff Koch, Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism and former president of the Kansas chapter of the American 1xbet online casino Society."In addition to being incredibly productive, intelligent, and driven, he still had a way of putting others in our state chapter at ease with a down-to-earth and approachable personality. He certainly is a leader in Kansas, the North Central Division and beyond while serving as an example for his students and fellow chapter members."
Gido served as president of the Kansas chapter of the American 1xbet online casino Society from 2013-2014; published a key edited volume on stream fishes — Gido and Jackson 2010; was one of the authors of "Kansas Fishes"; and has served on editorial boards for key journals — Ecological Applications and Freshwater Science —among many other professional contributions.
"This award means a lot to me," Gido said. "It also recognizes the hard work of post docs, graduate students and undergraduates that have worked in my lab, as well as the 1xbet online casino program in the Division of Biology at K-State."
