A Kansas State University faculty member and a doctoral student are each receiving 0 Love of Learning awards from Phi Kappa Phi honor society.

Vail, who was initiated into Phi Kappa Phi in 2004 at Southern Oregon University, plans to use his award to examine the archival collections, manuscripts and collected papers at Oregon State University as part of a broad research project that also will include other university libraries, special collections and scholarly repositories.
