Kansas State University celebrating 86th annual Family Day

MANHATTAN — Kansas State University's annual Family Day, Sept. 27, will celebrate the long-standing tradition of family involvement on campus.

"The 2014 event will celebrate 86 years of welcoming families to campus for a day of activities designed around family, togetherness and university pride. Students will have the opportunity to show their families around campus and share Kansas State University traditions with them. Two events, the legacy pinning ceremony and Family Time in Cat Town, are 1xbet sports betting Family Day traditions.

Family Time in Cat Town is the annual pregame event, sponsored by Hy-Vee and Payless Shoesource, on the southwest side of Bill Snyder Family Stadium. The casual event begins at 9 a.m. — two hours prior to kickoff of the 1xbet sports betting vs. University of Texas, El Paso game. Students and their families may tailgate with 1xbet sports betting administrators and other families while enjoying great food, door prizes and a photo booth, as well as have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to win ,000 toward tuition.

The Union Program Council will sponsor space painter Brandon McConnell at 8 a.m. on Bosco Plaza and host screenings of "How to Train Your Dragon 2" at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. in the Union's Forum Hall for for students and military and for family members.
