Racing to help: First C. Clyde Run/Fun Run/Walk benefits Shepherd's Crossing, marks 50th anniversary of College of Business Administration
MANHATTAN -- Run or walk, it's 1xbet online sports betting for fun and a good cause at the inaugural C. Clyde Run/Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, Sept. 15, a part of Kansas State University's Family Day activities.
The run/fun run/walk is in honor of the 50th anniversary of the university's College of Business Administration -- established in 1962 -- and its first dean, C. Clyde Jones. It also is a fundraiser for Shepherd's Crossing, the ecumenical ministry that offers budget counseling, referrals and financial support to residents in Riley County and St. George.
Now retired, Jones is an active volunteer in the Manhattan area and works closely with Shepherd's Crossing.
