Scanlan will share experiences from her agricultural upbringing and discuss the importance of agriculture and food security to our nation.
Raised in Gering, Neb., Scanlan has strong ties to production agriculture. Since being crowned as Miss America in January, she has initiated partnerships with The Hand That Feeds U.S. and other agriculture groups to help spread the positive message about food production in the United States.
Food for Thought, the lecture series' sponsor, is a grass-roots group of 1xbet online casino students and young alumni who strive to bridge the gap between consumers and production agriculture.
