STUDY ABROAD EXHIBIT ON DISPLAY AT COLLEGE OF 1xbet online games login , PLANNING AND DESIGN

MANHATTAN -- Projects by College of 1xbet online games login , Planning and Design students in spring and summer 2010 study abroad programs offered by Kansas State University are on display through Oct. 8 in the Chang Gallery and the first floor hallway of the east wing of Seaton Hall.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. The gallery is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. The exhibit also will be open 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, for K-State's Family Day visitors.

Students in the college's degree-granting programs are given the option of participating in study abroad during and following their fourth year. In spring and summer 2010, 62 students in the college studies abroad. Of the participants, 60 are now fifth-year students and represent 43 percent of the fifth-year class. Six students in their third or fourth year of study participated in summer programs.

According to professor Lynn Ewanow, associate dean and director of international programs for the college, students in 1xbet online games login , interior 1xbet online games login and product design, landscape 1xbet online games login , and regional and community planning are particularly well served by studying abroad. She said the experience of studying in unfamiliar environments heightens cultural and historical awareness; improves self-reliance; encourages better understanding of global economics, politics and societies; and broadens professional horizons.

"The College of 1xbet online games login , Planning and Design is committed to enhancing the study abroad experience for its students and supporting the emphasis on international education, which is part of K-State's strategic plan," Ewanow said.
