KANSAS CITY DESIGN WORK ON DISPLAY IN K-STATE'S CHANG GALLERY THROUGH SEPT. 11

MANHATTAN -- Designs by Kansas State University students who took part in a 1xbet online sports betting studio, are on display in Seaton Hall's Chang Gallery at K-State.

The 1xbet online sports betting aims to be an agent of public discourse in the Kansas City metropolitan area and exposes students to a wide range of proposed urban development projects in Kansas City.

Seven students from the K-State College of Architecture, Planning and Design took part in the 2008-2009 studio, which continued an interdisciplinary investigation for revitalization of Kansas City's Case Park. The studio also exposed the students to a wide range of past, present and proposed urban development projects in Kansas City and reviewed a variety of urban issues currently impacting the city's future. The students have since graduated.

The exhibition, available through Friday, Sept. 11, is free and open to the public. The Chang Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

The student projects also are available online at http://www.capd.ksu.edu/event-details/1506
