1xbet sports betting STUDENT FROM COLORADO RECEIVES HOLSTROM ALPHA TAU OMEGA ARCHITECTURAL SCHOLARSHIP
MANHATTAN -- Stephanie Pile, a fifth-year student in architecture at Kansas State University, is receiving the John E. Holstrom Alpha Tau Omega Architectural Scholarship.
William Muir, president of the 1xbet sports betting Alpha Tau Omega Students' Aid Endowment Fund, and Jared M. Schnefke, president of 1xbet sports betting 's chapter of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, presented Pile with the ,000 scholarship, a plaque and certificate, at Architecture Evening Sept. 18.
Pile, Centennial, Colo., is the 21st 1xbet sports betting student to receive the scholarship and will have her name added to a plaque in Seaton Hall's Weigel Library.
Pile is a member of 1xbet sports betting 's chapter of the American Institute of Architecture Students; treasurer of the department of architecture's Plot Club; a College of Architecture, Planning and Design ambassador; and was a DesignExpo volunteer. She also has volunteered as a caller for Telefund.
She is a member of the Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and she studied abroad in spring 2009 at Centro Studi Citta di Orvieto, Orvieto, Italy. She received an honorable mention in the freehand color category of the College of Architecture, Planning and Design's 2009 Student Rendering Exhibit and Competition, and second place in the computer category of the 2008 competition.
In addition, Pile has interned at Tryba Architects in Denver, Colo., and Godden-Sudik in Centennial, where her primary responsibilities included preparing marketing brochures and competition submissions.
The Holstrom Scholarship, established in 1990, is named after John E. Holstrom, a 1968 initiate of the 1xbet sports betting 's chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega and 1972 1xbet sports betting graduate, who died in December of 1989 at the age of 40. The 1xbet sports betting Alpha Tau Omega Students' Aid Endowment Fund, in conjunction with the College of Architecture, Planning and Design, established the Holstrom Scholarship, which received major support from an endowed ,000 gift from the architectural firm of Weeter-Kienast-Alexander in Dallas, Texas.
To be eligible, a student must have at least a 2.75 grade point average and have contributed to the quality of life of the department of architecture.
