MANHATTAN — Kansas State University's 1xbet online games login Theatre will open the 2015-2016 season with Sarah Ruhl's "Eurydice," based on the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.
"Eurydice" will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 15-17 and Oct. 22-24, and at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 25, all in the Mark A. Chapman Theatre at Nichols Hall. Elizabeth Uthoff will direct "Eurydice."
After dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice must journey to the underworld where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. With contemporary characters and ingenious plot twists, Ruhl takes a fresh look at the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine in this timeless love story.
Tickets are for adults; for faculty/staff, military and seniors; and for students and youth, plus tax. Tickets can be purchased in person at the McCain Auditorium box office from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by phone at 785-532-6428. From out of state: Nicholas James Schoonover, sophomore in theatre, Horseheads, New York, as Father; and Mallory Diekmann, junior in agricultural communication and journalism, St. Paul, Minnesota, as Eurydice.
