ACADEMIC MAJORS FAIR OCT. 13 HELPS STUDENTS EXPLORE OPTIONS
MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's 2010 Academic Majors Fair will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, in the Grand Ballroom at the 1xbet online casino Student Union.
"Having the fair in October gives students the chance to have follow-up visits with advisers in time to complete any necessary paperwork before enrolling for the spring 2011 semester," said Michael Lynch, 1xbet online casino associate vice president for student life.
The Academic Majors Fair features representatives from all nine 1xbet online casino colleges. Individual departments and student services representatives will talk to students about academic majors, minors, secondary majors and career alternatives.

"Students have the opportunity to meet with academic and student services, allowing them to envision a career path and plan their future."
Last year's fair attracted around 800 students. When surveyed, more than 90 percent of them said they'd recommend the event to a friend.
"What I love most about the Academic Majors Fair is the opportunity it provides for students and staff to connect," said Madai Rivera, admissions coordinator for Hispanic recruitment, 1xbet online casino College of Human Ecology. "I often meet with students after the fair for follow up, answer additional questions and help them with the curriculum change process. I love to hear them say, 'this is what I've been looking for.'
