DANCE PROGRAM'S WINTERDANCE 2010 IN NICHOLS 1xbet online games login DEC. 2-4

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's dance program will present WinterDance 2010 at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 2-4, and a matinee performance at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 4. All performances are in Nichols 1xbet online games login .

WinterDance features a variety of dance styles, including tap, jazz, modern, ballet and hip-hop, in pieces performed by K-State dance students.

The show includes choreography by guest artist and hip-hop dancer Dustin Phillips, a traveling master teacher. He has choreographed performances for various college dance teams, halftime shows and bowl games, as well as for professional sporting events and for companies.

Phillips has worked with such artists as Paula Abdul, the Backstreet Boys, Brandy, Aaron Carter and Mariah Carey. He also performed in the movie comedy "Black Knight," starring Martin Lawrence, and in commercials for Nike, Bank of America, Disney and Quiksilver.

WinterDance 2010 also will feature the choreography of several K-State dance faculty, including Neil Dunn, instructor; David Ollington, associate professor; Julie Pentz, associate professor; and Joyce Yagerline, associate professor.

Tickets for WinterDance 2010 are for the general public, for military and seniors, and for students. They can be purchased at the McCain Auditorium box office from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays or by calling McCain at 785-532-6428 during box office hours.
