Faculty members honored for dedication to students, university and research

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's colleges are honoring faculty members for excellence in teaching, research, service and advising. The honorees and their awards include:
* College of Agriculture: Jennifer Bormann, associate 1xbet sports betting animal sciences and industry, and Brian Briggeman, associate 1xbet sports betting agricultural economics, are the college's faculty of the spring 2013 semester. Bob Goodband, 1xbet sports betting animal sciences and industry, is the college's adviser of the year. * College of Arts and Sciences: Recipients of the William L. Stamey Teaching Award are Brianne Heidbreder, assistant 1xbet sports betting political science; Amy Lara, associate 1xbet sports betting philosophy; Daniel Hoyt, assistant 1xbet sports betting English; and Andrew Ricketts, doctoral student and graduate teaching assistant in biology. * College of Business Administration: Dann Fisher, associate 1xbet sports betting accounting, received the Ralph E. Reitz Outstanding Teaching Award for demonstrating consistent excellence in the classroom; Brad Cunningham, academic adviser in the college's office of student services, received the Kansas State Bank Outstanding Advising Award for his work in advising students; and Sungha Jang, assistant 1xbet sports betting marketing, received the Developing Scholar Research Award for his research efforts in consumer search, choice models, financial services marketing and customer relationship management.
* College of Human Ecology: Jared Anderson, assistant professor in the School of Family Studies and Human Services, received the Dawley-Scholar Award for Excellence in Student Development, which recognizes outstanding achievement in the personal/professional development of students. David Poole, 1xbet sports betting kinesiology, received the Faculty Extension Excellence Award for superior accomplishments in scholarship, including research and creative activities. H. Jerome Nietfeld, professor in the veterinary diagnostic lab, received the Dr. William and Deanna Pritchard Veterinary Service and Outreach Award for his dedication to his clinical patients.
