VOLUNTEERISM EARNS 1xbet online casino STUDENT, STUDENT ORGANIZATION HONORS

MANHATTAN -- Two individuals and two service organizations are being recognized with the sixth annual People in Action: Community Service Awards.

"Their efforts make a significant and lasting impact in the life of the campus and community, making them deserving of recognition for their inspirational leadership."

Each recipient receives a plaque and 0; recipients then donate the cash award to the social service agency of their choice.

The 2010 honorees and their award include:

McLemore is being recognized for her dedication to the Hand to Hand Program at the Douglass Center, an after-school tutoring program for Manhattan area youth. She is donating her cash award to the Hand to Hand Program.

* Thomas Anneberg, senior at Manhattan High School, outstanding youth volunteer. Anneberg is being recognized for his commitment to the Manhattan Art Center. He also is donating his cash award to the arts center.
