MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University Opera presents the one-act operas "The Old Maid and the Thief" by Gian Carlo Menotti and "Trial by 1xbet on by W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan at 7:30 p.m. March 6-8 and 2:30 p.m. March 9 in the Mark A. Chapman Theatre in Nichols Hall.
The operas bring a lighthearted satire and a twisted tale of morals and evil. "Trial by 1xbet online games login " is a comedic opera concerning a trial for a breach-of-promise marriage, and "The Old Maid and the Thief" is a radio opera following a small-town woman and a tale of evil, womanly power. Both are directed by Reginald Pittman, professor of music. Kathy Voecks, assistant professor of theatre, is the scenic designer; Dana Pinkston, associate professor of theatre, is costume designer; and John Uthoff, associate professor, is lighting designer.
Tickets are for the general public, for seniors and military, and for students, plus tax and applicable fees.
