STUDENT COUNSELORS, DIRECTORS READY TO HELP NEW WILDCATS WARM UP TO CAMPUS

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's Wildcat Warm-up is heating up for another year with the announcement of the 2011 student counselors and directors.

Wildcat Warm-up gives new students entering K-State in fall 2011 a head start on meeting other new students, connecting with faculty and staff, learning K-State traditions, getting involved in campus organizations and gaining a sense of the Wildcat spirit.

Now in its eighth year, the program is optional and is offered in addition to summer orientation and enrollment programs. It's supported by tuition enhancement funds allocated by the K-State Student Governing Association.

Two sessions are being offered this summer: June 10-12 and June 17-19.
