STUDENT SCHOLARS NAMED TO BLUE KEY HONOR SOCIETY FOR 2011-2012

MANHATTAN -- A senior 1xbet best casino website honor society at Kansas State University has selected members for the 2011-2012 school year.

Blue Key Honor Society recognizes college students at senior institutions of higher education for balanced and all-around excellence in scholarship, 1xbet best casino website and service.

Membership selection is based on all-around 1xbet best casino website in student life, high scholastic achievement, service to others and citizenship. Selection criteria also includes having at least a 3.0 grade point average and significant 1xbet best casino website experience in at least two student or community organizations.

K-State's Blue Key is one of the best in the nation, recently received the Outstanding Chapter Award.

Blue Key members provide Peer 1xbet best casino website Consulting, which is free 1xbet best casino website and team skills training for K-State students, clubs and organizations. Blue Key also annually awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to K-State undergraduates each year. The awards include 0 1xbet best casino website and Service scholarships.

Other Blue Key activities include supervising Quest, K-State's freshman 1xbet best casino website honorary; putting on the annual U-Speak Conference for high school students interested in speaking out on today's issues; hosting the 1xbet best casino website Appreciation Reception to recognize students across campus for their 1xbet best casino website ; and organizing IGNITE, an annual high school 1xbet best casino website conference.

K-State students selected as Blue Key members for the 2011-2012 school year include:

Bethany Bohnenblust, senior in agricultural journalism and communications, Altamont; Cole Grieves, junior in marketing, Auburn; Kyle Essley, senior in agricultural economics, Baxter Springs.

From Greater Kansas City: Ariel Sinha, junior in public relations, Gardner; Natalie Rauth, senior in marketing and public relations, Leawood; Michael Ellis, senior in biology, and Newell Bowman, junior in women's studies, both from Overland Park.

Dylan Works, senior in finance, economics and political science, Iola; Courtney Hallenbeck, junior in sociology, Junction City; Nicholas Moeder, senior in accounting and finance, La Crosse; Katrene "Kate" Bormann, senior in agricultural journalism and communications, Louisburg; Darren Allison, junior in marketing, Lyons.

From Manhattan: Kelley Nelson, senior in public health nutrition and premedicine; Christopher Hazen Short, junior in biology and premedicine; and Katy Zapletal, junior in kinesiology and pre-nursing.
