MANHATTAN -- The Kansas State University Research Foundation, the Kansas State University Foundation, the 1xbet sports betting Alumni Association and the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce are sponsors of an annual event to recognize 1xbet sports betting inventors, patent holders and other creators of intellectual property.

The sixth annual Spotlight on Intellectual Property will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 10, in the 1xbet sports betting Alumni Center Ballroom.

Keynote speaker for the 2009 luncheon is Jeffrey S. Hornsby, the Jack Vanier Chair of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the 1xbet sports betting College of Business Administration and founding director of the Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship at 1xbet sports betting . He will present "Sustaining Organizational Entrepreneurship."

Hornsby is a nationally recognized scholar in entrepreneurship. He came to 1xbet sports betting from Ball State University, where he was active in the school's entrepreneurship program which has been consistently top-ranked by Entrepreneurs magazine.

Hornsby's research interests include corporate/organizational entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial motivation and ethics, compensation, and small business management. He has published more than 120 articles and authored four books on topics related to entrepreneurship and management.
