University's annual dialog on sustainability looks at best ways to achieve a greener world
MANHATTAN -- "Finding an Optimal Path to a Sustainable World" is the title of the seventh annual Dialog on Sustainability from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 21, in Fiedler Hall and auditorium at Kansas State University. The event is open to the public.
Hosted by the Consortium for Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability and its partners, administrative leadership of the consortium is provided by the Center for Hazardous Substance Research in the College of Engineering at 1xbet online casino .
Topics for the dialog include sustainable communities, solar-powered charge stations for plug-in vehicles, educating the public about climate change and sustainable food systems. One breakout session will address current environmental and sustainability concerns. Activities will include presentations, discussions, small group dialogues, posters, exhibits and more. The goal is to share information and find out about people's concerns. The event is on a Saturday to encourage public participation.
