Dr. Roy Jensen coming to campus to discuss KU's National Cancer Institute designation and how it benefits Kansas State University
MANHATTAN -- The University of Kansas Cancer Center director is coming to Kansas State University to discuss KU’s recent National Cancer Institute designation.
Dr. Roy Jensen will visit Kansas State University's Johnson Cancer Research Center at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2. Jensen will discuss the benefits of KU’s National Cancer Institute designation to Midwest Cancer Alliance members like the Johnson Cancer Research Center. Benefits include additional opportunities for KU and Kansas State to collaborate on cancer research.
The cancer research center is in the northeast corner of Chalmers Hall, near the intersection of Claflin Road and 17th Street. Parking is available south of Chalmers Hall.
