Science stars: Area schools compete in regional science olympiad at K-State Salina

SALINA -- Teams from Manhattan High 1xbet online games login and Chisholm Middle 1xbet online games login in Newton are the winners of the regional Kansas Science Olympiad hosted by Kansas State University Salina on Jan. 11.

Teams from 14 high schools and 11 junior high schools participated in the event.

The competition consisted of Division B for grades 6-9 and Division C for grades 9-12. Team members usually compete in pairs and enter about four events each. Although individual victories are essential, teamwork plays a large part in the competition.

Chisholm Middle 1xbet online games login placed first in Division B with first place finishes in the Experimental Design, Reach for the Stars, Road Scholar, and Storm the Castle events.
