Cotton Bowl community service project brings Wildcats and Razorbacks together for a cause
MANHATTAN -- Wildcats and Razorbacks can work side by side and give back to the local community during a volunteer project that coincides with the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic.
The project happens from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 5 -- one day before the Friday bowl game kickoff at 7 p.m. in Arlington, Texas. The project will involve volunteers from both Kansas State University and the University of Arkansas.
It is the first time the university has participated in a service project that coincides with a bowl game.
"1xbet sports betting has long been regarded as having some of the most loyal and supportive fans in the nation," said Gavin Hargrave, associate director of alumni programs for the 1xbet sports betting Alumni Association. "K-Staters also are known for their compassion and willingness to help others. We are looking forward to this opportunity to work together with volunteers from the University of Arkansas to assist those in need in the Dallas area."
The community service project is open to 1xbet sports betting fans of all ages. Volunteers will help sort clothes, food and furniture for Mission Arlington, which serves more than 1,000 clients in the Arlington community each day. The mission is located at 210 W. South St. in downtown Arlington.
