MANHATTAN -- Four Kansas State University students will serve as directors of Wildcat Warm-up in 2010, a program aimed at student retention.

Student directors facilitate in planning the program and also coordinate the work of the student counselors, who are chosen in the spring.

The 2010 directors are: Connor Hartpence, sophomore in microbiology, Eudora; Kelsie Ball, junior in family studies and human services, Eureka; Lauren Aiello, sophomore in secondary education, Overland Park; and Danielle Young, junior in family studies and human services, Ulysses.

Wildcat Warm-up is an opportunity for new students to spend three days and two nights at 1xbet online games login the summer before their first semester at 1xbet online games login . The program's purpose is to establish connections to current students, faculty and staff, as well as to teach student success strategies and 1xbet online games login traditions. Wildcat Warm-up is in addition to orientation and enrollment.

Wildcat Warm-up, which is in its seventh year, will offer two programs this summer: June 11-13 and June 18-20.
