K-STATE STUDENTS ESSENTIAL TO PLANNING 2010 ALL-UNIVERSITY OPEN HOUSE

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's 2010 All-University Open House will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 24, on both the Manhattan and Salina campuses.

Open house is an annual event to show the public and prospective students what K-State is all about. Interactive displays, fun activities, games, informational booths and more will highlight all aspects of K-State, including student life, research and academic programs.

A core group of K-State students serve on the All-University Open House Coordinating Committee, which helps organize the event.

"Our students intimately understand K-State," said Emily Lehning, assistant vice president for student life. "They help make the university what it is. Having them involved in putting together the All-University Open House each year has been key to the event's success for the last 31 years."

Students on K-State's 2010 All-University Open House Coordinating Committee include:
