FEBRUARY 1xbet online sports betting FAIRS AT K-STATE TO ATTRACT NEARLY 200 EMPLOYERS

MANHATTAN -- Nearly 200 employers will be seeking out Kansas State University students at the Engineering 1xbet online sports betting Fair, Tuesday, Feb. 10, and the Business and Hospitality 1xbet online sports betting Fair, Wednesday, Feb. 18. Both fairs will be on the second floor of the K-State Student Union.

K-State's 1xbet online sports betting and employment services will host the fairs, giving students the opportunity to meet with employers offering full-time, internship and cooperative work/study positions. Many of the companies will spend an extra day on campus conducting interviews.

The Engineering 1xbet online sports betting Fair, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will offer more than 100 engineering and computer science companies. Employers attending include Black and Veatch, Cerner, ExxonMobil, Garmin, GE Aviation, Halliburton, Koch Industries, Lockheed Martin, Phillips Lighting and Westar. Several governmental agencies also will attend, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Federal Aviation Administration and the Kansas Department of Transportation. Companies new to the fair include Computer Sciences Corporation, Detroit Diesel Corporation, Park Electrochemical Corporation and Zeeco.

"The College of Engineering has a strong reputation of providing well-educated and well-prepared men and women for the work force," said John English, dean of 1xbet online sports betting 's College of Engineering. "I feel confident that in 2009 we will be able to meet those needs once again."

"During tough economic times, job seekers may find the employment market more competitive," said Dottie Evans, associate director of K-State 1xbet online sports betting and employment services. "That's why it is critical for students to take advantage of every opportunity they have to network with employers. By attending these two 1xbet online sports betting fairs, students will increase their exposure to employers who have strong interest in K-Staters and who, despite the challenging economy, have opportunities for internships, co-ops and full-time 1xbet online sports betting positions."

Students are encouraged to dress professionally, bring multiple copies of their resumes and have their student ID. Some employers also will be offering next-day interviews to students attending the fair.
