MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University is receiving 24 awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, Mid-America District VI.

The council is an international association of educational institutions. District VI includes Kansas, Colorado, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. Each year the district releases the CASE awards, which recognize and celebrate outstanding programs and individuals.

"Communications and marketing are a significant component of the university's plan to become a Top 50 public research university by 2025," said Kirk Schulz, university president.
