The tournament honors Rob Regier, a 1988 graduate of Kansas State University in pre-dentistry who died of 1xbet sports betting at age 26. It is hosted by his parents, Sandy and Les Regier, and his brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Juli Regier, all of Overland Park.
