StephenHiggsreceives prestigious international award for achievements in medical entomology

MANHATTAN — Stephen Higgs, Kansas State University associate vice president for 1xbet online sports betting and director of the Biosecurity 1xbet online sports betting Institute, is the 2020 recipient of the Harry Hoogstraal Medal for Outstanding Achievement in Medical Entomology.
The medal is aninternationalaward from theAmerican Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, or ASTMH,andhonors outstanding lifelong service to medical entomology.TheAmerican Committee of Medical Entomology, or ACME,virtuallypresented Higgs with theawardat theASTMHannual meetingthis week.

This is a career award that reflects the work of many students and collaborators from around the world.”
