Kent Glasscock is the president of the 1xbet online casino Institute for Commercialization, or KSU-IC. Prior to joining KSU-IC in 2003, Glasscock spent 16 years in public office. He served as the mayor of Manhattan, Kan., from 1989-1990; as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives from 1991-2003; as Kansas House majority leader from 1991-2001; and as Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2001-2003. Additionally, Glasscock was selected to serve on the transition teams for Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback and former Kansas Gov. Bill Graves.

He is an emeritus member of the Professional Advisory Councils for the university's colleges of engineering and arts and sciences.
