Mary Beth Kirkham, professor of agronomy, will receive the 2010-11 Iman Outstanding 1xbet online casino Award for Research. The recipient of the 2010-11 Iman Outstanding 1xbet online casino Award for Teaching is Michael Wesch, associate professor of anthropology.

Mary Beth KirkhamKirkham's award recognizes 1xbet online casino members who have distinguished themselves in their chosen profession and who have contributed significantly through research to improve the betterment of the educational experience, or whose research has had a significant impact on their area of study.

Kirkham joined the K-State 1xbet online casino in 1980 and is an authority in plant-water relations and the uptake of heavy metals by crops grown on polluted soil. She was the first to document water-potential gradient in tall and semi-dwarf wheat cultivars. More recently, she is examining the effects of gravity on plants.
