Gordey joins McNair Scholars Program as academic development coordinator
Adrianna Gordey is the new academic development coordinator for the Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program, or McNair Scholars Program.
Gordey began April 18 and is responsible for coordinating appropriate academic support services for accepted McNair Scholars, especially providing writing instruction to help students improve their abilities to communicate research and their achievements.
Gordey has more than five years of experience supporting student success and is a McNair Scholars Program alumnus who can personally relate to the experiences of McNair Scholars. Before joining the team, she worked as a resident assistant and as a graduate teaching assistant in the English department.
