Students and police officer recognized for life-saving efforts

Students Kennedy Brown, Ian Gash and Emme Tremaine and Officer Koharchik each played a part in the emergency by administering chest compressions and using anautomated external defibrillator prior to emergency medical services arriving to continue care.
According to Riley County EMS, their actions were critical in a very positive outcome for the patient. EMS also presented each with a challenge coin as a token of appreciation for their efforts.
