An Alabama native, Cary Chappell came to Kansas State 1xbet online sports betting in 2012, having completed one year of service in the English Language Fellows (ELF) program at Universitas Tanjungpura in Pontianak, Indonesia. He continues to maintain professional ties with partner schools in Pontianak, working on special projects. His previous professional experiences include teaching basic ESL classes for immigrants at Shelton State Community College in his hometown of Tuscaloosa, where he was also an outreach worker for the public library. He was trained in the use of a student-centered, intercultural approach.

I grew up in Manhattan and then moved away for many years. During my adventures, I lived in San Francisco, California and Tucson, Arizona among other places. My emphases in education have been varied. I began my career in theater, studying directing and technical theater. From there, I studied in the field of Women’s Studies. Later, I returned to school and finished a Bachelor’s in Psychology. My Masters Degree is in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in second language acquisition. I have a beautiful seven-year-old daughter, and we are both very happy to be back here in the Flint Hills of Kansas!!!

Smoky has taught Adv. Speaking, Listening, Writing & Grammar, Reading, Intermediate and Lower Speaking / Listening, Writing, Business 1xbet online sports betting , ESP, etc.
He leads PD Committee, manages faculty PD budget, oversees PD process with committee, plan and conducts faculty In-Service events with committee, administers surveys, and notifies faculty of PD opportunities. He is also the advisor for the Japanese Student Association.

When he's not working, he spends his time educating and raising bilingual and bi-cultural children. Christine is a Kansan by birth. However, her life, her love for teaching, and her desire for growth took her all over the world before she recently returned to this wonderful state. She explored countries like Ecuador, Costa Rica, and Peru as she learned Spanish. Along with a Master's Degree in TESL and many years of teaching experience, Ranae has spent 20 years learning Arabic in the Middle East and understands language learning. She is eager to help students through the learning process for reading, writing, listening and speaking in 1xbet online sports betting . Ranae and her husband Tim (also an ELP instructor) have traveled and lived in many places around the world, but truly enjoy living in Manhattan, Kansas and want to welcome all international students to study here.

Tim came to teach at K-State in 1989. After a few years he left to study Arabic and teach in the Middle East. He worked in Jordan, the UAE, and Oman for almost 20 years. Tim’s wife, Ranae, also teaches in the ELP and they have two teenage daughters.
